Patti's Machine Quilting & Gallery is now Open For Business!

Welcome to Patti's Machine Quilting & Gallery! As you may notice, I don't keep up a big 'blogger' presence; I'd much rather be sitting at my sewing machine than sitting at the computer! The best place to keep up with what's going on is to 'Like' my facebook page; Patti's Machine Quilting in Maine, or, stop by my shop!
We are located at 570 Brighton Ave, Portland, Maine 04102. It's the intersection of Brighton Ave. & Woodfords known as Brighton Corner. A busy intersection with an eclectic mix of shops; Rosemont Bakery, Karma Fair Trade, Don's Baseball Cards, Purple Paws Dog Grooming & Spiral Tree Yoga. We are above the Yoga studio.
You can drop your quilt top, backing & batting off to have it machine quilted or buy a custom made quilt, table runner, wall hanging or tote bag! It's a cute shop in a great location! Stop by & check it out! I'm open Tuesday through Saturday 11 - 4. Closed Sunday & Monday.
Let me take you on a tour........

Happy Spring!

Spring finally arrived! We've had several sunny days in a row with temps in the upper 50's & lower 60's! The flowering trees & shrubs are blooming, the leaves are budding, the birds are singing their spring songs, the grass is getting thick & green; I'm ready to get my flip flops out! It's been a long hard, cold, snowy winter. I've had plenty of time to get a lot of sewing done! Yay! Here are a few new table runners & even a new quilt that will be at our next show, May 25th at the First Parish Marketplace in Freeport!

This quilt is made with a vintage 1960's polished cotton cabin-y print for the center panel. It's

Sweet little flowered 9 patch! 40 x 40! It has a soft flannel backing!

Outdated Computer!

Happy New Year! I have come to the realization that I need to add 'Update Computer' to my this year's to-do list! Grrrrr! My Windows XP is quickly becoming obsolete..........! I'm learning how to compute with my smartphone and my tablet.... this may take some time! Lol!!!
In the meantime, I have been slowly/quickly! replenishing my quilted inventory! Look at the beautiful new colors in my Cardinals and Pines runners! I have been sewing and cutting and planning and quilting and snowshoeing and baking, Oops! Getting outside or into the kitchen is what I do in my 'spare' time! Lol!!
Be patient with me as I learn how to navigate through new technology, well, new to me anyway! I will try to post more regularly; who knows! It may be waaayyyy more easy and I'll be blogger savvy in no time!
