Happy Spring!
Spring finally arrived! We've had several sunny days in a row with temps in the upper 50's & lower 60's! The flowering trees & shrubs are blooming, the leaves are budding, the birds are singing their spring songs, the grass is getting thick & green; I'm ready to get my flip flops out! It's been a long hard, cold, snowy winter. I've had plenty of time to get a lot of sewing done! Yay! Here are a few new table runners & even a new quilt that will be at our next show, May 25th at the First Parish Marketplace in Freeport!
This quilt is made with a vintage 1960's polished cotton cabin-y print for the center panel. It's
Nautical Baby Quilts! Lighthouses! Each 40 x 40! The perfect size for crib, stroller, floor, grandma's lap, etc...!
Sweet little flowered 9 patch! 40 x 40! It has a soft flannel backing!
Sailboats! What a cute little baby quilt for that new little sailor in your family! 40 x 40!

Outdated Computer!
Happy New Year! I have come to the realization that I need to add 'Update Computer' to my this year's to-do list! Grrrrr! My Windows XP is quickly becoming obsolete..........! I'm learning how to compute with my smartphone and my tablet.... this may take some time! Lol!!!
In the meantime, I have been slowly/quickly! replenishing my quilted inventory! Look at the beautiful new colors in my Cardinals and Pines runners! I have been sewing and cutting and planning and quilting and snowshoeing and baking, Oops! Getting outside or into the kitchen is what I do in my 'spare' time! Lol!!
Be patient with me as I learn how to navigate through new technology, well, new to me anyway! I will try to post more regularly; who knows! It may be waaayyyy more easy and I'll be blogger savvy in no time!

I love this time of year! Thanksgiving & Christmas are my favorite holidays! Time with friends & family, hot cocoa with irish creme, wool sweaters & socks & holiday decorations! I made a Christmas stocking for a special little girl. She may be able to climb inside of it because it's so big! Oh well!!! Room for more presents from Santa!
